There are 4 stages to the full embodiment, expression and leading impact through the true self.
- Integration —> Coming home, bringing together the lost parts of you
- Embodiment —> Feeling, owning who you are in the body, inner anchoring and certainty
- Expressing —> Moving outwards, expression, throat, being seen, heard as you (from a grounded place)
- Amplifying —> Leading, Impact, daring bravely

Too often, we try to step into 3 & 4, without the foundation of 1 & 2.
The foundation of INTEGRATION (stage 1)… is then
- Safety (to be you)
- Awareness (of who is that ‘you’)
- Collecting threads (bringing together the lost parts)
- Distil —> Clarity (taking it to meaning / action)
Slowly, slowly, piece by piece, I am picking my lost pieces back up – and I am bringing it back.
Truth be told, when I first began this blog – one part was being able to explore and play (without the pressures of integration). But another big part, I realised – was hiding (temporarily).
Knowing, that the exploration in hiding had a purpose. It was creating my own inner safety.
Safety to be YOU
Finding our safety (“am I safe to be me”), through the right environment and from within is foundation.
Only after that… are we prepared for the awareness of you.
This has been a cycle I have been through many a times.
In fact one can say that it’s probably destined to be a lifelong learning.
We often teach, what we are given ourselves as lessons from life, over and over and over.
Each time I put back the masks, showing a version of me more acceptable (or seemingly so), or more fitting into the moulds others – the fractures in alignment appear in its cracks.
Those cracks manifest externally.
Slow move towards burnout (from pretending). More friction in energy.
More friction in progress.
Signals, that we’ve forgotten who we are. And that it’s time to come home.
- You feel drained, even when “everything looks fine”
- You say “yes” when your body says “no”
- You keep performing versions of yourself that no longer feel alive
- You second-guess your truth in rooms where you used to shine
- You’re productive, but not fulfilled — ticking boxes with a quiet feeling of ’empty’ inside
- You avoid silence, because it’s too loud
- You can feel a gap between the life you’re living and the you who once dreamed it
- You find yourself dressing, speaking, or leading in ways that don’t quite fit anymore
- You start to feel invisible to yourself — and deeply crave being seen
I created the True Self Workshop because of these many, many, many lessons in my own life.
From pretending aș that teenager at school that everything was fine, when it really wasn’t. To the emotional numbing and ‘corporate face’ during my outwardly “successful” career. To the many times of unmasking (and learning to) in business to show up and allow others to see the full me.
I have been grateful to coaches and guides that have helped to reconnect to those parts of myself. (We cannot do this deep work ourselves).
One (who knew me well, as I was his coach for a couple years prior) left a voice note – “I felt a bit sad. That this is a part of you that is not really shown, really seen.”
Our life lessons always have a reason – reconnection.
And universe will deliver those again and again and again. Until we are prepared to listen.
The True Self workshop is the foundation of all of that.
It awakens the first two parts –
SAFETY – The space, the safety, finding that anchoring within to be you.
AWARENESS – Starting to awaken the fragments of awareness – this is who you are.
It’s like holding up an internal mirror.
And starting to REALLY see, feel, hear that voice from within.
The 1-Page vision, then follows as the piece of collecting threads, integrating, then distilling.
And I feel grateful (and proud), that over the last 6 years – I (and we) have now conducted over 1000 of these deep connection sessions – the 1 page vision, to reconnect people back to their soul.
Their deeper connection to all the parts of their missing self, scattered over the desert of life, that we pick up and return to wholeness.
This post is a calling for reconnection.
A pause to re-evaluate.
- What mask might you currently (still) be wearing?
- Do you know the full self beneath?
- And do you dare (yet) to meet them?
